Safety Guidelines
At 10sConnect, your safety is important to us.
10sConnect helps connect tennis players with compatible practice partners, but every player shares responsibility for making safe decisions before, during, and after each match.
These guidelines are intended to help you enjoy a safe and positive experience.
Meet in Appropriate Locations
- Whenever practical, schedule matches at public tennis facilities, parks, clubs, schools, or other well-maintained tennis venues.
- If a facility requires reservations, guest fees, or court fees, confirm those details before arriving.
Let Someone Know
If you’re meeting another player for the first time, consider letting a family member or friend know:
- Where you’re playing
- Who you’re meeting
- Approximately when you’ll return
For junior players, parents or guardians should always know the match location and schedule.
Use Good Judgment
- Trust your instincts.
- If something doesn’t seem right before or during a match, you should feel comfortable leaving the situation.
- Your safety is always more important than completing a match.
Respect Personal Boundaries
- Treat every player with courtesy and respect.
- Respect personal space, privacy, and appropriate boundaries before, during, and after matches.
- Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or abusive behavior has no place in the 10sConnect community.
Parents and Junior Players
10sConnect welcomes junior players ages 13 and older with the knowledge, permission, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to:
- Review player profiles with their child.
- Supervise first-time matches whenever practical.
- Determine whether the selected opponent and playing location are appropriate.
- Maintain communication with their child before and after the match.
Protect Your Personal Information
- Only share personal information that you are comfortable sharing.
- Avoid sharing sensitive information that is not necessary to arrange or participate in a match.
- Remember that once information is shared with another person, you may no longer control how it is used.
Stay Healthy
- Only participate if you believe you are physically able to play.
- Stay hydrated, use appropriate equipment, and follow the rules of the facility where you are playing.
- If weather conditions become unsafe, consider postponing the match.
Respect Facility Rules
Every tennis facility has its own rules.
Please respect:
- Court reservation policies
- Guest requirements
- Court fees
- Dress codes
- Playing time limits
- Facility staff
Following facility rules helps ensure a positive experience for everyone.

- If you experience behavior that makes you feel unsafe or violates our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, please report it.
- Include as much information as possible so we can review the situation.
